McDonald’s popular Dollar Menu is about to expand – its prices. Beginning Nov. 4, all McDonald’s restaurants will offer the Dollar Menu & More, featuring food items ranging from $1 to $5, according to a Bloomberg report.
McDonald’s CEO Don Thompson refers to the rebranding of the Dollar Menu as a “value ladder,” and says increasing prices on the discount menu is providing customers with “multiple offers.”
Thompson said the move allows the company and its franchisees to continue the concept of the Dollar Menu as the costs of labor and products continue to rise.
