McCormick & Co. penned an agreement to purchase hot sauce maker Cholula.
The deal is valued at $800 million. The seller is L Catterton, a private equity firm that's owned the brand since 2019.
Cholula is slated to join McCormick brands including French’s yellow mustard, Old Bay seasoning and Thai Kitchen products.
