Project description: At approximately 6,000 square feet, the McAuley Place Early Childhood Center is designed to house a child care facility and the leasing office for the attached 160-unit affordable housing development, being constructed on 11 acres donated by the Mercy health care organization and named for Sisters of Mercy founder Catherine McAuley, according to media reports. The early childhood facility will be operated by Bentonville Schools and is designed to accommodate 20 infants and toddlers and 40 pre-kindergarten students.
