Mazda Motor, Japan’s fifth-largest automaker, announced its CEO plans to step down.
CEO Masamichi Kogai will be succeeded by Akira Marumoto, 60, who now oversees operations in the Americas.
The company’s CEO since 2013, Kogai will stay on as chairman of the board.
