The Springfield Area Human Resources Association will present a seminar featuring Judge Tatjana V. Schwendinger of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission May 17 at the Clarion Hotel, 3333 S. Glenstone.|ret||ret||tab|
Judge Schwendinger, an administrative judge with the EEOC since 1983, has also been supervisory administrative judge since 1995. She is a 1972 graduate of the Law School of Washington University in St. Louis.|ret||ret||tab|

During her tenure with the commission, the judge has presented numerous training sessions on such topics as how to process an EEOC complaint; how to defend against an EEOC complaint; the Americans with Disabilities Act and how it relates to workers' compensation and the Family and Medial Leave Act; and sexual harassment. |ret||ret||tab|
The seminar, titled "The Seven Deadly Sins of Management or How to Avoid Meeting an EEOC Judge," will be held 7:30-11:30 a.m. Tickets are $35 and include breakfast|ret||ret||tab|
