Maxwell Frost elected as first Gen Z member of Congress

Democrat Maxwell Frost made history in becoming the first member of Generation Z to be elected to serve in the U.S. Congress.

Frost, 25, defeated Republican Calvin Wimbish by 19 percentage points to win the Orlando-based seat in Florida.

"History was made tonight," Frost tweeted. "We made history for Floridians, for Gen Z and for everyone who believes we deserve a better future."
