A convenience store property in south Springfield has changed hands.
The 2704 S. Campbell Ave. property, which houses a net-leased Maverik gas station, sold for $4.4 million, according to a news release from Calabasas, California-based Marcus & Millichap Inc. (NYSE: MMI), which brokered the sale.
The release did not name the buyer and seller, other than to say the new owner is a California-based limited liability company. However, a Greene County recorder filing shows that 2704 Springfield Nolan Maverick LLC took ownership of the property on Dec. 23 from Urban Springfield Kum and Go LLC. California secretary of state records show 2704 Springfield Nolan Maverick LLC is registered to Robert Nolan of Los Angeles.
The 6,203-square-foot property sits on 2 acres and was built in 2016. It has more than 10 years remaining on its lease.
The store on the property was one of the locations Salt Lake City-based Maverik took over through the 2023 acquisition of Des Moines, Iowa-based Kum & Go.
