Shares in Barbie toymaker Mattel have increased by 20 percent on reports rival toy giant Hasbro is considering a buyout.
Hasbro, whose brands include Play Doh and My Little Pony, also watched its shares rise 6 percent on the reports.
Mattel is valued at $6 billion, while Hasbro is double that.
