Mattel had better earnings and revenue in the second quarter than analysts were expecting.
Revenue was $1.2 billion, and adjusted earnings were 18 cents per share. Analysts predicted revenue of $1.1 billion and earnings of 6 cents per share.
The three-month period marked the eighth straight quarter of revenue growth for Mattel.
