Mastercard is planning to phase out manual card entry for online payments in Europe.

Starting from 2030, customers will use a randomly generated "token," instead. It's expected to protect against fraud.

Losses from online payment fraud are expected to exceed $91 billion by 2028, according to Juniper Research.
