Maryville University, a private university in the St. Louis County city of Town and Country, has hired Daniel Shipp as its next president.
Shipp will succeed the retiring Mark Lombardi, who has led Maryville University for 18 years.
Shipp is joining Maryville University from Kansas-based Pittsburg State University, where he serves as president.
