Maryland Heights-based renewable energy developer SunEdison closed on the second phase of a $300 million acquisition of a solar portfolio from Dominion Resources.
The $180 million first phase closed at the end of 2015.
The $117 million second phase accounts for 33 percent in the remaining portion of a 567-megawatt solar portfolio that has 24 projects located in Indiana, Georgia, Connecticut, California, Tennessee and Utah.
Terra Nova Renewable Partners, a subsidiary of SunEdison, has the option to buy the remaining 67 percent.
