Mars introduces caramel M&Ms

Mars, the maker of M&M's, is celebrating the product's 75th anniversary by introducing caramel to the formula.

In May, the company will launch M&M's filled with caramel.

"It's a $2.2 billion flavor segment and the fastest growing segment in food right now. We want to be part of this category," said Hank Izzo, Mars' vice president of research and development.
