Marijuana expungement petitions open starting today in Missouri.
The expungement measure is part of the passage of Amendment 3, which legalized recreational marijuana in the state.
Missouri courts have six months to remove misdemeanor marijuana-related offenses from criminal records. They have a year to remove felonies that are no longer illegal under Amendment 3.
