Marianne Williamson announced Friday she's dropping her bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
Williamson, a self-help author, said she doesn't "want to get in the way of a progressive candidate winning" the primaries.
She reportedly laid off her entire campaign staff at the beginning of 2020 due to low campaign cash.
