Curia Inc., which has headquarters in Albany, New York, and Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking 50 new hires at its Springfield plant, 2460 W. Recently, Curia made three offers to participants of an Oct. 9 virtual job fair, according to officials with Shaker Recruitment Marketing, which is handling public relations for the company.
"Curia is an essential business and is a major contributor to the ever-growing pharmaceutical industry," Curia officials said in a statement provided by Shaker Recruitment Marketing. "The company is experiencing unprecedented growth in business, as well as expansion through acquisitions, and is looking to add to the team to keep up with the increasing demand."
The Springfield plant currently has around 100 employees, with plans to onboard 50 full-time, permanent workers within 12 months.
Curia, which changed its name from AMRI this summer, is conducting branding changes at the Springfield plant, officials said. The company is a global contract research, development and manufacturing organization that works in the pharmaceutical industry, according to its website.
