Manchester City becomes world's most valuable soccer club

The Manchester City Football Club became the most valuable soccer group through a stake sale.

The team's Abu Dhabi-controlled owner agreed to sell a $500 million stake in the team to U.S. private equity firm Silver Lake.

The stake sale values Manchester City at $4.8 billion.
