Man pleads guilty to arson that destroyed mosque in Joplin

A Joplin man pleaded guilty yesterday to destroying a mosque via arson and attempting to burn down a Planned Parenthood clinic in the city.

Jedediah Stout, 32, burned the Islamic Society of Joplin in August 2012.

He was arrested in 2013 for twice attempting to burn down Joplin's Planned Parenthood clinic, which does not provide abortions.
