Mamtek CEO released from prison

The former CEO of Mamtek was released from prison this month after serving four years of a seven-year sentence.

Bruce Cole was convicted for defrauding investors of an artificial sweetener factory in the Missouri city of Moberly.

Cole submitted fraudulent invoices from a fake company to gain $6.6 million in bond funds from the Moberly Industrial Development Authority, which helped back the Mamtek factory.
