Drugmakers Mallinckrodt and Endo are set to combine.
The companies reached a cash-and-stock deal valued at $6.7 billion. Endo shareholders will receive $80 million in cash and own nearly 50% of the combined company. Mallinckrodt shareholders would own the remainder.
Mallinckrodt CEO Siggi Olafsson will lead the combined operation.
