Mall of America confirmed reports that it's planning hundreds of layoffs and furloughs.
At the end of the month, 211 employees will be laid off. An additional 178 people will remain on furlough, according to the company.
Mall of America, which has around 1,000 employees, has struggled along with other retail and restaurant sites amid the coronavirus pandemic.
