Saulos Chilima, vice president of Malawi in southeastern Africa, has died along with nine other people in a plane crash.
Chilima, 51, was traveling to attend the funeral of the country's former attorney general. His wife was reportedly among those killed in the crash.
President Lazarus Chakwera declared Tuesday a national day of mourning, according to CBS News.
