Major US corporations near Cuba deals

Three major U.S. corporations are preparing to complete deals to do business in Cuba.

The companies are AT&T Inc., Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc. and Marriott International.

AT&T wants to complete a roaming agreement, and Marriott wants to open hotels in the country. Starwood is expected to make an announcement.

They're among the most high-profile deals since President Barack Obama said in December 2014 that the U.S. would move to restore ties with Cuba after more than 50 years.

Obama is scheduled to visit the island later this month.
