Amazon, Alphabet's Google and Facebook parent company Meta signed a pledge of support for nuclear power growth.
The pledge, which seeks to at least triple nuclear energy worldwide by 2050, first was signed by more than 20 countries, including the United States, at the U.N. Climate Change Conference in late 2023.
Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley also are among companies that have backed the initiative.
