Major NYC hotels pledge to cut greenhouse gas emissions

More than a dozen of New York City's most famed hotels are pledging to cut greenhouse gas emissions.

Among the 16 hotels in the pledge are the Waldorf-Astoria New York, the Lotte New York Palace, the Pierre-A Taj Hotel and the Crowne Plaza Times Square.

The hotels are joining the NYC Carbon Challenge program, which calls on a reduction of greenhouse gases by 30 percent or more in the next decade.
