Global shipping company Maersk is cutting jobs as part of a reorganization.
The company is folding its Damco freight-forwarding business and Africa-focused carrier Safmarine into its own operations by year's end.
The restructuring will impact up to 27,000 employees, but a spokesperson did not say how many jobs would be cut. The company has 80,000 employees.
