Madeleine Albright, the first woman to serve as U.S. secretary of state, has died. She was 84.
Under President Bill Clinton, Albright was secretary of state and the country's representative to the United Nations.
She also was a child of Czech refugees who fled from Nazi invaders and Communist oppressors before heading to the United States, according to The New York Times.
