Springfield area companies are making a name on the national level through mobile application development with millions of downloads and counting.
Texting technology platform CellARide recently inked a deal with Toyota, and GPS tracking systems company Rural First continues to expand its mapping footprint. While these private apps are user specific or not yet available to the public, a handful of local companies have apps designed for the masses. From counting timber to finding your perfect corn dog route, here are six apps developed right here in the Ozarks. Stats come from Apple’s App Store, but all the apps also are available for download in the Google Play store.
