Macy's reported mixed results during the holiday quarter.
Adjusted earnings per share were $2.45, above analysts' expectations of $1.96 per share. Revenue was $8.12 billion, short of predictions of $8.15 billion.
Macy's officials are projecting net sales between $22.2 billion and $22.9 billion for this fiscal year. That would be down from $23.09 billion in 2023.
