Macy's, Bloomingdale's to stop selling fur

Macy's Inc. announced it would stop selling fur products at its namesake stores and Bloomingdale's locations.

With the plans expected to be finalized by the end of the company's fiscal year 2020, Macy's and Bloomingdale's stores instead will sell faux fur products.

Companies such as Ralph Lauren and Burberry already have dropped fur products.
