MacArthur Foundation President Julia Stasch announced she will step down next year.
“In mid-2019, I will have served as president for five years. I have led the foundation through significant change, with the goal of greater impact. I believe this is a natural point of transition, and I want a different balance to my life at this time," she said.
Crain's Chicago Business reports the foundation is perhaps best known for its annual "genius" grants.
