Lyft is introducing a feature that would allow female passengers to more easily match with female drivers.
Called Women+ Connect, the feature allows women and nonbinary riders and drivers to make being connected with each other a priority through a toggle on the app, according to The New York Times.
The riders could still be matched with men when no women or nonbinary people are available nearby.
