Lyft Inc. announced an agreement to sell its self-driving division for $550 million.
Woven Planet Holdings, a Toyota subsidiary focused on autonomous technology, is the buyer. The company will pay $200 million upfront, with the remainder to be paid over a five-year period.
Lyft competitor Uber shed its self-driving division late last year.
