Lucky’s Market filed for bankruptcy after announcing mass store closures.
In its bankruptcy petition yesterday, the grocer listed assets and liabilities of at least $500 million each.
The Boulder, Colorado-based natural foods store chain's Springfield grocery is scheduled to close next month. The company recently announced plans to shut down 32 of its 39 stores.
Negotiations are underway with Aldi for a potential asset purchase agreement, according to Bloomberg.
