Boulder, Colorado-based natural foods grocery chain Lucky’s Market is hiring for its store at developer Brad Thessing’s Glenstone Marketplace.
Lucky’s is seeking more than 100 full- and part-time employees for the 28,000-square-foot store within the $10 million, 100,000-square-foot shopping center at 3333 S. Glenstone Ave., according to a news release.
The chain is hosting hiring events Monday through Friday until Dec. 8 at Residence Inn by Marriott Springfield, 1303 E. Kingsley St.
The store that’s expected to employ 150 people originally had an expected third- or fourth-quarter opening date. It’s now scheduled to open in mid to late January, according to the release.
Lucky’s, which currently operates 26 stores, joins Price Cutter’s Ruby’s Market, MaMa Jean's Natural Market and others in offering healthy food options in the Queen City. Features of Lucky’s include the ability to buy and sip on beer and wine during visits, a made-to-order ramen bar, an in-house butcher and bulk options.
At Glenstone Marketplace, Springfield’s first HomeGoods opened Nov. 12.
