The Loyola Ramblers' NCAA Final Four earned $8.5 million for the 10-team Missouri Valley Conference, to be paid out by the NCAA over the next six years.
That means $140,000 per year for Missouri State University and the other nine schools.
Based on an NCAA formula, for every tournament game a school plays, the NCAA rewards that team's conference with about $1.7 million, paid out over six years, according to the Chicago Tribune. For the Missouri Valley, Wichita State had been the conference's primary money-maker in March, but that school now plays in the American Athletic Conference.
