Lowe's Cos. Inc. signaled plans to hire 65,000 seasonal and permanent employees in 2019.
However, it will eliminate an undisclosed number of jobs for services such as interior home jobs.
Of the new employees, 500 are for a planned 2,000 jobs in information technology.
