Luxury department store chain Lord & Taylor filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
The filing comes less than a year after Le Tote agreed to purchase the retailer from Hudson's Bay Co.
Lord & Taylor temporarily closed its 38 brick-and-mortar stores in March. It has continued to operate online throughout the pandemic.
