Longtime Scholastic Inc. CEO Richard Robinson died Saturday. He was 84.
"Dick was a true visionary in the world of children's books and an unrelenting advocate for children's literacy and education with a remarkable passion his entire life," board members with Scholastic said in a statement.
The world's largest publisher and distributor of children's books, Scholastic's estimated net worth is $1.2 billion.
