Longtime KC sports broadcasting anchor retires

A longtime sports broadcasting anchor and reporter in Kansas City has retired.

Karen Kornacki in her 45-year career covered Super Bowls, World Series, NCAA Championships and other athletic events.

She spent 41 years of her 45-year career in local sports broadcasting in Kansas City. She was reportedly the Kansas City market's first female sports anchor and reporter.
