The longtime general manager of John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts’ properties in Rogers, Arkansas, has been displaced by the New York investment firm that bought JQH Hotels’ assets of out of bankruptcy court.
David Lang had managed the 400-room Embassy Suites hotel and 125,000-square-foot Hammons Convention Center.
“That hotel was my home,” Lang told Arkansas Business.
The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal reports Lang had worked for JQH Hotels for 24 years. NWABJ also said Larry Cooper had been hired to succeed Lang.
