The London Stock Exchange reached a deal to sell the Borsa Italiana stock exchange.
Pan-European bourse operator Euronext agreed to buy it for roughly $5 billion.
The deal comes after the LSE entered an agreement to acquire data provider Refinitiv for $27 billion.
