Minneapolis-area logistics company C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc., which has a large presence in Kansas City, is conducting layoffs.
The company cut about 650 jobs recently, amounting to 3.6% of its total workforce. Company officials did not say which areas of the company were impacted.
In the Kansas City area, C.H. Robinson reported 940 full-time-equivalent employees as of July.
