Logistics company will deliver 125 jobs to KC

XPO Logistics Inc., a third-party logistics firm based in Greenwich, Conn., will add 125 new jobs in Kansas City, Gov. Jay Nixon's office announced Thursday.

According to the Kansas City Business Journal, the jobs will be added at a historic 10-story building being redeveloped.

The location will be XPO's first freight brokerage location in Missouri. The company (NYSE: XPO), which reported $581 million in quarterly revenue last month, is expected to make a $1.2 million capital investment at the location.
