Lockheed Martin takes $2B charge

Lockheed Martin took a nearly $2 billion charge in the fourth quarter, harming its bottom line.

The defense contractor reported a net loss of $642 million, compared with net income of $988 million a year earlier.

Officials cited changes to U.S. tax laws as the cause for the one-time expense.
