The U.S. Navy awarded a $450.7 million warship contract to Bethesda, Maryland-based Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT).
The seven-year contract calls on the production of four Multi-Mission Surface Combatant ships.
The company will produce the ships in 21 locations throughout the United States and overseas.
