Mercy Springfield Communities President David Argueta has been appointed to the Missouri Hospital Association Board of Trustees.
Argueta's term started Jan. 1, according to a news release sent on Friday by the state hospital association.
“We are excited to have David’s counsel on the MHA board,” said Jon D. Doolittle, MHA president and CEO, in the release. "Not only does he bring nearly 20 years of service in hospital administration to this role, he is passionate about the work hospitals do to make every health care experience a good one.”
Argueta also is serving as a delegate to the American Hospital Association. He’s been president of Mercy Springfield Communities since 2022.
The Missouri Hospital Association, a nonprofit that represents 140 hospitals statewide, has 29 board members, according to its website. CoxHealth President and CEO Max Buetow is among them.
