The Springfield HBA took home honors in five categories – the most of any HBA, except for the Greater Portland HBA, which also took five awards – at the annual event in Long Beach, Calif.
In its size category, the Springfield association was recognized for:
• Best Service Delivered to Members, for its general liability insurance program;
• Best Operations Program, for its board orientation and planning retreat;
• Best Public Relations/Marketing Program, for KY3 Focus on Home;
• Best Political Action, for its Vote Yes for Local Power Supply Campaign; and

April 7 was the official opening day for Mexican-Italian fusion restaurant Show Me Chuy after a soft launch that started March 31; marketing agency AdZen debuted; and the Almighty Sando Shop opened a brick-and-mortar space.
