James F. McLeod, an attorney with Lathrop & Gage's Springfield office, Sept. 12 received the Pro Bono Publico Award from the Missouri Bar.
According to a Lathrop & Gage news release, McLeod was selected for the award in recognition of the work he has done with Legal Services of Southern Missouri, which has its headquarters in Springfield.
McLeod's practice is concentrated on estate planning, employee benefits and tax law. He is a member of the Missouri Bar and the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association.
The Pro Bono Publico Award is presented annually to three people one person from St. Louis, one person from Kansas City and one person from anywhere in the state of Missouri.
