The lineup has been announced for the fifth annual C-Street Jam June 26 in the Historic Commercial Street District, and the headliners are nationally known natives of the Queen City.
Ha Ha Tonka brings its mix of bluegrass and southern rock to this year's event after having spent the last year touring nationally and playing major music festivals including Lollapalooza, the Sundance Film Festival and South by Southwest 2010.
The C-Street Jam main stage also will include performances by Cropdusters, Cornbelt Chorus, Truett & the Traitors, and Bringers of the Dawn, according to a news release from the Urban Districts Alliance.
Additional musicians will take the stage between main acts as part of the LemonDrop side show. LemonDrop is a nonprofit C-Street arts agency founded in 2009 to promote local artists. The group will also unveil a temporary, interactive art installation called "Trash City," inspired by a future without modern luxuries.
Tickets, which are $6 in advance, for the event go on sale Monday at Hoover Music, Lindberg's Tavern, Big Momma's Coffee and Espresso Bar and the Urban Districts Alliance office. Tickets purchased at the event are $8.
